Latest Edits

I apologise for the lack of activity lately, im quite busy with uni assignments at the moment! Ive had a bit of fun on this iPad app called Pixlromatic during classes, and so heres a bunch of photos that ive post processed... (All from old photoshoots)

This week ive done nothing apart from uni work except for eating food at carnegie, spend alot of money on bubbles, and plan my new company ideas.
Next week ill be helping out with a film that my friend Max is directing! Ill be sure to bring my camera and get some snaps. Im also spending this saturday at Maroondah Dam with the mpc folk, so hopefully i get some more good shots there too.

In case anyone reading hasnt seen these photos before, theyre ALL mineee!! :D

I really love the "netted" look over this photo.
Old film grain effect.

I do like the flares in this photo - a nice touch i reckon.
WOW!
Monica :) Looking glamorous as usual!
Matt matt matt matt matttttyyyyy maaattttttttt hehhee

Poloroid!!

Today is the first day of spring, and when i think about, that winter was pretty tame. It was like 50% sunny days. I was expecting far worst from Melbourne. Now im worried for this upcoming summer, it better still be hot or i will be thoroughly disappointed!!

Please dont use my photos without my permission! :)

By the way, could i pretty please ask for feedback? I realised ive never asked for critique before, but let me know if you have any feedback on my photos/editing! Ive made the commenting tool open to anyone, so you dont need an account to comment, but please write your name, so i know who the feedback is from!

Delicious food + LIGHTROOM (finally)

Just going to warn you, this post will just be a seemingly endless scroll of ALOT of photos that ive photographed previously, but now with LIGHTROOM EFFECTS! I finally got this amazing software thanks to my best friend Matt :) Thanks a lot mate!
Niko's cafe in Oakleigh. These treats were like $5-$6 each. But very much worth it, they were amazing.

An old photo of macaroons i made. Chai and chocolate with baileys buttercream.
 Midnight snack in between assignments.

This caramel slice was HEAVEN. It took me two hours to eat because i was savouring every crumb of it.
See that thick layer of chocolate ganache right in the middle of this chocolate cake??? Magical.
Eric and i stopped walked past some memorial tombstones on the way back to chadstone.
Its connnniiieeee wearing my hat and shirt.
You will probably have seen these photos on some of my other websites. I cant remember which ones i have and havent put up. (I dont keep count) But these are the lightroom edited versions.
We got helium balloons for this shoot and almost lost them when they got caught in a tree!
I really need to update my photography on my other websites.... this blog is the only site i regularly update. Subscribe if you havent already!
From the first shoot i ever did! (Wow what a long time ago that was...)

A couple from various shoots

Model: Olivia
This was for her actress portfolio :)
Model: Brittany

Im the middle of developing a flash website for my photography! Its looking pretty snazzy so far.

Also lately i photographed my friend Connie from K is for Kani, the fashion blog. I gotta say... this girl is the most humble, down to earth, sweetest cutest person ever!!! Also incredibly photogenic. I got some amazing shots of bubbles and balloons.

Talia

Talia is super pretty and photogenic. She looks like a cross between Audrey Hepburn (when shes serious) and Rachel McAdams (when shes smiling). Thats gotta be like... the best combination ever.
As per usual, i did her hair. It was originally short and straight, but i curled the back, and pinned it under, and then worked on a boofy, curly fringe.
No one pulls off red liptstick like Talia does. It looks so good on her.
Shes also a ballet dancer. Which is awesome. I love photographing dancers because they have great knowledge of their body angles. As well as all their graceful movements as they pose, which makes me feel like a total klutz with my chunky camera, tripping over studio wires and equipment, walking into umbrellas and accidentally poking holes in the backdrop.

The best of today and yesterday

Model: Freya Bennett. Photo in sepia with my mini vintage chair. I looooveee this photo. She looks soo pretty! She looks like someone out of a Jane Austen novel/movie.
Hair was done by me, inspired by Allie from The Notebook.
Absolutely love the fringe.
Another photo with my mini vintage chair. Model: Ashika. Check out her shoes... :D
The dress was seriously amazing. Hair done by me! If theres one thing i love more than taking all these photos, its the opportunity to play with everyones hair...
Black and white photos. Freya has AWESOME eyebrows. Best eyebrows ive ever seen. Lol what a random thing to notice...
I love the expression of this photo. These black and white photos were supposed to be my 'take' on a high fashion editorial type look/style.
I love this photo of Freya! Another editorial attempt. I reckon it worked out alright! Man i love that bow.

I went up to Mt Dandenong with my sister because she was shooting her Year 12 VCE Media film there. I took some behind the scenes shots, and also some model shots of the actress.

Ethereal edits

This is the original photo of Brittany i took. I decided to go all out and overly edit it into an awesome ETHEREAL look.

Here is the now edited version. As per usual, i took out all blemishes and evened skin tone/colour. Applied digital makeup. I made her eye sockets nice and dark. And applied a cool tone to the overall photo for an eerie glow :).

Brittany photoshoot

A couple days ago i photographed Brittany. We shot at Brighton Beach, and i wanted to edit the photos into a very glamorous, ethereal, magazine type look.

I should have photoshopped her legs into a mermaids tail...

New art

My original version, pen on paper. Btw thats not a nike on her cheek. Im trying to figure out how to shade cheekbones.... Didnt really work this time round.

Originally drew this one in my visual diary, then went over it in photoshop with my wacom tablet.

Some of my random arty stuff

Today ive been rather arty.

Created two pieces ive been moderately happy with.

Im happy with my proportions, and the idea. What i dont like is the hair and face. I am content with the body structure and the ribbons.

This one is wonder woman. I used a reference from deivant art, but its not nearly the same. Mine is very quite different. Anyway, this is the finished product, when i went over it in photoshop with my tablet. Now time to shade.

I like the body structure there. Managed to get it looking alright. Im pretty confident at drawing (female) hair. But body structure, and making even eyes are challenging.
