Microsoft & Sunflowers

Sooooo its been awhile since i last posted. I have some exciting news for you all though!!!
This morning i received a call from Microsoft offering me a position as brand ambassador for Monash university! I will officially be sponsored by Microsoft for 2012 and this includes a free laptop, xbox 360 + kinect, and a windows phone 7! I also get to go on paid trips, concerts, events, free xbox games, etc :D
Ill be doing marketing for Monash around clayton and caulfield monash uni campuses for the next year! Im so excited!

End of this month i am being flown up to sydney for a few days, all expenses paid, to meet the other representatives from other states/universities, and to begin Microsoft training from the technical and marketing team! I cant wait to meet all the Microsoft staff!
And i cant wait to own a new windows phone :D

Back to the real deal... my photoblog. Ive got LOTS of photos i havent uploaded, but heres some that are not on facebook (yet).
Lovely friend Max gave me these sunflowers! And i decided to take a few pics before they died :(
(Am also using them for a shoot i have planned)

None of them are photoshopped (:O), only color edited.
I am wearing a (no brand) purple chiffon sleeveless shirt, and high waisted leather shorts from forever new (boxing day sales).
I thought it would be nice to team up the purple of the shirt and the yellow of the sunflower in this outfit. And im looking a bit pudgy arent i?! I need to get more fit...

Next year is going to be full on it seems!
This is how it is so far:
- Working part time in marketing
- Studying 3rd year marketing
- Part time marketing internship
- President of the MPC
- Microsoft U Crew Ambassador

Bring it on!
Ps. More photos of events/corporate functions/parties/NYE to come soon.

Mums old jeans are NOW MINE!

I realise this is a bit of a spam having suddenly posted twice in week after being absent for a month. But this was completely necessary because i havent really done a single post just dedicated to fashion yet... and i managed to convince my mum to let me cut up her vintage levi jeans! Wheeee

Im so rapt, they are absolutely perfect condition and fit me perfectly. I dont own any denim in a light blue colour, and i dont own any vintage denim either!
She has two pairs of these and i convinced her to let me cut one pair to make into shorts. They are high waisted, and actually a bit tight :(
Anyway, i decided to raid her closet while i was at it, and so my entire outfit is comprised out of my mums clothes and i dont own any of it... until NOW (ive claimed ownership over all items).
Shes okay with me borrowing her clothes on indefinite loan because she has a new shipment of clothes coming the mail from next week. I introduced her to ASOS, she went nuts (shes too busy to go to the shops) and i thought id made a big mistake. But i realised this could work in my favour... :D I convinced her to get sizes six to eight which means ill be able to wear most of her new clothes hehe (and potentially borrow indefinitely).

Mums precious vintage levi high waisted jeans just underwent the CHOP!

Vintage levis high waisted shorts <3, abercrombie check singlet top thingy, valleygirl white lace vest, flower blazer from i dunno where.
Im not wearing shoes in these photos :P

Theyre a little tight, i dont think i will be able to tuck in any jumpers... geez my mum must have been thin :( or maybe im just putting on tummy fat from all my exam study binge eating
Sometimes clothes stay in my wardrobe for years, unworn, and then one day i find a matching item, and BAM i wear them for the next whole month.
These shorts really couldnt have come at a better time! I cant wait to wear them throughout summer :D

Royal Carribean

I had a great holiday. My ideal thing, fine dining and theatre every night... and not having to worry about the cost. And i love how they intergrated the crew with the guests! The service was so exceptional that it even exceeded my expectations. And thats really saying something since mine are set at something really high and unreasonable. Im one of those customers that i hate serving.

This was a young girl i photographed on the Isle of Pines.

From one of the chocolate feasts the ship had. There were chocolate fountains, statues... trays and trays of chocolate...

My sister at the dining table with the dinner menu.

My christmas present from my mother. Channel set stones in gold. They go all the around the band! I dont have to worry about constantly twisting it back up the right way. My sister got pave set band in white gold. My mum chose very well for the both of us. They suit us each very well.
